The National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) has awarded Xeptiva Therapeutics with a new grant “Tools for Innovation”. The Grant was applied by Xeptiva last october and was approved by the ANII to begin next March 2023.
The Project is entitled "Development of immunotherapies for the veterinary market” and seeks to improve the innovation capabilities of the startup. The Project presented and approved by the Agency consists of 4 verticals, hiring specialized human resources, both in the scientific and veterinary areas, internships for postgraduate students, conducting controlled clinical trials on dogs with osteoarthritis, and training human resources abroad, which will allow the company to acquire capabilities and access technologies not available in our country. |
The project constitutes a subsidy of approximately 70% of the total amount assigned to the project contributed by ANII and 30% contributed by Xeptiva, and will last 24 months. This governmental grant constitutes a fundamental support for Xeptiva since it will allow the company to improve its research and innovation capabilities by hiring new specialized human resources, perform clinical trials and access to new technologies aborad.
