The National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) has awarded Xeptiva Therapeutics a new grant, “Tools for Innovation”. Xeptiva applied for the grant last October, and ANII approved it to begin in March 2023.
The project is entitled “Development of immunotherapies for the veterinary market” and seeks to improve the innovation capabilities of the startup. It consists of four verticals: hiring specialized human resources in both the scientific and veterinary areas, internships for postgraduate students, controlled clinical trials in dogs with osteoarthritis, and training human resources abroad, which will allow the company to acquire capabilities and access technologies not available in our country.
ANII contributes approximately 70% of the total amount assigned to the project and Xeptiva the remaining 30%. The project will last 24 months.
This government grant is a fundamental support for Xeptiva, since it will allow the company to improve its research and innovation capabilities by hiring new specialized human resources, performing clinical trials and accessing new technologies abroad.
