A long-acting immunotherapy adapted to cats, targeting the neurogenic inflammation that keeps osteoarthritis pain going.

Feline osteoarthritis is a progressive, chronic joint disease that affects a significant share of adult cats, reducing mobility, joint function and quality of life.
Cats tend to mask pain, which makes diagnosis difficult. Less jumping, changes in grooming, social withdrawal or lower activity are often the only signs of unmanaged chronic pain.
Feline OA pain stems not only from joint degeneration but from persistent neurogenic inflammation. NGF and Substance P sensitize peripheral nerve endings and drive central sensitization. Substance P also activates mast cells in the joint, which keeps the inflammation chronic. By neutralizing both, Xeptiva’s technology aims to disrupt this neuroinflammatory cascade.
